How does this guy still have a job?

I guess he never read my response to his prior documented outburst and here he is bringing race into the mix...again. Only this time he brought the I'm-not-hiding-that-I-hate-white-people response.

It's really unfortunate that this man has such a chip on his shoulder and you begin to wonder how it would cloud his judgment...and I'm sure that it clouds his judgment.

Mr. Price stated that he was provoked by a Dallas resident Jeff Turner because he was being called "Chief Moolah" and went on to state in his interview with 1080 KRLD, "if you lookup the slang it's what an I-talian immigrant refers to an African American." So I took Mr. Price up on his request and tried to look it up.......but never came up with any such term.

It turns out that Mr. Price doesn't speak I-talian, and apparently neither do I. Some more searching revealed a completely different I-talian term. The term Mr. Price was referring to is "moolie" (I-talian slang for black man) not "moolah" (slang for money). A big difference in pronunciation and meaning. Had he known this, or if he'd just done a bit more research, then he may not have been so quick to jump to racist conclusions. Mr. Turner was obviously a bit crackers as well if he didn't know how to pronounce "mullah" (Muslim man, educated in Islamic theology and sacred law) with all of the talk about Afghanistan and it's craziness.

At this point, it's hard to disregard Mr. Turner's objection to Price's responses. He stated that he meant "mullah" and that he was alluding to the fact that Price rules with an iron fist as the central authoritarian figure, which is usually how the mullahs rule. Mr. Price has just revealed his true self and thoughts with regards to his white (and I-talian, because they come in a plethora of colors) counterparts on Earth.

I'm not even going to bother ranting on Mr. Price's deragatory use of "teabagger" to reference Tea Party members. You can already see where his head is at in the racist context and that just extends the argument.

In the immortal words of comedian Ron White, "You can't fix stupid. There's not a pill you can take; there's not a class you can go to. Stupid is forever."

Damn It All...

Published 10/10/2009 by Farid in Motorcycles | Rants

As you can see my older blog posts are missing something, namely pictures. I had another web site that I was managing that needed to be taken down. In my haste I mistyped the account number and ended up killing my personal site. This, unfortunatey, is the end result. In due course I'll post the pics back up or try to have my hosting company recover them. For now, I'm too aggravated about it to even bother.

Moving forward....

Hello Again....

Published 7/16/2009 by Farid in General

It's been a while since I've posted. I've been teetering on the yes/no fence regarding the blog but I figured I'd give it the old college try once more.

I've written a couple of items in the past that I wanted to post so I'll do that and continue from there.

Thanks for hanging around.

Mr. Ruben Navarrette usually contributes to CNN commentary posts. This morning's post really hits home with me and I'm sure many of you.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/26/navarrette.obama.mccain/index.html

I was totally in agreement with him and felt compelled to email him on his choice to speak out.

Mr. Navarrette,

I just read your commentary on the CNN web site. I would like to congratulate you on being clear-minded with regard to Senator McCain’s choice of jumping to Washington to handle our economic crisis. Since this is a serious issue that America is currently contending with, and that the next President must continue to contend with, it should be placed at the top of the priority list of one’s “multi-task” list.

To be frank, I am a McCain supporter and I have issues with everyone trying to place blame on him for being a leader. There are times within life that certain items must take precedence over self adulation. This is one of those times! Mr. McCain has placed his bid for the Presidency in jeopardy in order to provide the American people with the necessary leadership required to get us through this crisis with, hopefully, as little impact to the taxpayer as possible. One can only assume that he has the best interests of the American people at heart. Mr. Obama, has done the reverse and sided with the Mr. Reid, President Bush and Secretary Paulson on this one. Who’s Bush III now?

A 3 A.M. call came in to Mr. Obama. He promptly picked up the handset and placed it on the nightstand in order to catch a few more Z’s.

Can we afford someone in the White House who can’t anticipate when to step in and take control? You know, actually be a leader?

Again I thank you for this post.

Kind Regards

Update:  Exactly!

I would shoot this bastard!!!

Published 7/24/2008 by Farid in Rants

A father distraught over his son's abuse by a teacher:  "often so overwhelmed with rage and sadness that he drives to a park, leans against a tree and sobs."

http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/07/23/sex.offender.teacher/index.html

And the bastard is out of jail, able to work and live day-to-day.

Sorry, in my world - he'd be fucking dead!!!!

I'm sure many of you would agree.

Innocent until proven guilty is one thing.

Guilty and walking the streets =

Charles Bronson - Vigilante

Update:

The dirt bag that molested the child is finally heading back to jail for 43 years. Apparently his family's properties were not worth enough to cover his $600K+ bond. Good riddance... but....I would still shoot'em.

What should we call black?

Published 7/11/2008 by Farid in Politics | Rants
I'm getting really quite incensed at the shear (oops) sheer stupidity and willfulness of black members of our society that are attempting to find racism at every turn.

Case in point - Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,380143,00.html

 - or for the video -

http://www.myfoxdfw.com/myfox/pages/Home/Detail?contentId=6953163&version=5&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=VSTY&pageId=1.1.1

Mr. Price apparently has issue with the term "Black Hole". A black hole is a scientific term as the stated within the article and on wikipedia.com. Noone should need to apologize to anyone over use of that term. 'Devil's food cake' is called such because of it's sinfully delicious chocolate! Are you catching my drift. It's got nothing to do with your skin color!

As I see it, 'angel food cake' has nothing to do with white people but rather with the white puffiness of the cake. Now, I'm sure that Mr. Price can go into a whole rant about "white puffiness" but if he would just look up - the clouds over his head are damn white! Or, devoid of black, if you want to take it in a context that would really piss Mr. Price off! Additionally, if we want to go into a religious spat, which I'm not so inclined to do, then you can probably say that angels can be all different colors, considering that it's not just white people that die.

So this brings me to another dilemma, what DO we call "black" from here on out?

Technically, black people are not black, they're brown. White people are not white, their peachy-pink. But I'll keep it black and white in the context of my racism rant.....So, we have red, white, blue, green, brown, etc... but we can no longer have black. Again, I'll take Mr. Price's cue on racisim:  The color devoid of white. Yes, I'm doing that to piss people off. I'm not a racist. I have many black friends and colleagues that I would consider kinder and more genuine human beings than many of the white people that I know.

I digress...

I have an idea Mr. Price. Why don't you stop worrying about 'black hole', 'Devil's food cake' and 'angel food cake' and concern yourself more with your job as commissioner? Instead of getting hung up on simple terms in our language that have nothing to do with you as a human being, you should be worried about the black hole that the tickets are falling into.

You're black, I'm white, but we're both people...if you want to concern yourself with words that people may use to describe you, then I sugguest that you start concerning yourself with the word "ass-hole".

In this CNN article (http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/europe/06/27/germany.gas.ap/index.html) a German man gets so pissed at gas prices that he burns his own car. The kicker isn't that he torched his car. It's the following:

  • "As in many countries, gasoline prices have risen steadily in Germany; a liter of regular gasoline now costs about euro 1.55, or $9.40 per gallon."
  • "Police were investigating whether the man could be charged with violating German environmental laws with the stunt, Wagner said. Penalties range from fines to five years in prison. "

Holy shit! $9.40/gallon? That's where we're headed! The thing that really gets me is the "environmental laws" part of this deal.

If we get a bunch of whack-job "Lefties" in office and judiciary, we're screwed! I mean, come on, the guy has a gripe and he took it out on his own vehicle. Granted there may be toxins released but to tell you the truth...I think if many people could torch their cars right now, they would.  Get ready for jail!

I'm really also starting to get pissed about the crazy Democrats that care more about the environment than the safety and survival of our great country. Yes, we need trees, birds and animals but we also need to live. We have enough oil in and around this country to supply ourselves and the rest of the world. What better way to make money for our country to help out the poor, suffering, lazy bastards who are looking for the hand-outs that Democrats provide? At least we won't be paying 10 bucks-a-gallon. Stop with the road blocks and start with the drilling!

Two posts in one day. Shit!

So I posted some jibber-jabber here: cedrustech.net/blog/archive/2008/05/05/9.aspx about a post that I placed here: http://rswarrior.com/forums/p/109491/903919.aspx

Well, apparently, the thread was locked...and I didn't lock it. Someone at rswarrior.com must have an issue with my posting. I'm not sure if I made the rswarrior.com Obama-God mad or was there something objectionable with what I had stated. It must have been simply the truth that hurt.

Regardless, I have this site to write on, and it's mine to control. I was attempting to write a response to a member by the name of RobRiguez. Here's my response to his statements.

RobRiguez wrote:

Well the slate article is only asking the same question that has been floating around since sometime last year. Its not really answering any questions. And thats the biggest problem I have with Obama. I like him. I like a few of the things he stands for and have found myself actually getting caught up in some of his speaches. I dont know that I would trade our healthcare system or our foreign policy to have someone I "like" in office. My best friend is a hell of a guy but that doesnt mean I would want him as president. So Im starting to feel the "empty suit" comments are more and more dead on than previously.

As Ive stated in some of my previous posts, another weird thing about this election is I find myself on the republican side of things more and more. While its a strange feeling, its just feels right. There was some little aplet on the web that had you put in all your opinions and it kind of picked who it thought you should vote for and surprisingly enough it came back Huckabee. Well both he and Paul are out of it so im just hoping there will be some big last minute hail mary type move (like Mccain/Rice) that will make my decision for me.

At this point I just want LESS government and be able to keep MORE of my money. However "they" do it im a happy camper.

My Response:

Hey Rob,

The article is more of an "It's about time" kind of thing.

I posted not because I wanted to be right, in the correct sense, but rather because the true man and his life are FINALLY coming out. No more rose colored glasses for people. He cannot be more wrong for this country. We don't need socialism. If we have a Democratic House, Senate and President we are going to be taxed to the hilt. All the taxes will eventually be used for crazy entitlement projects that will place our nation at greater risk of failure in the long run. People will all become more dependent upon government and we'll lose our identity as strong, go-getters. I digress...Obama is a figment of your imagination, and of Rokel's. It's just that Rokel hasn't realized it yet. Smile

The older I get, the more in line with Republican values I stand as well, with some exceptions.

You seem to be understanding why we were "raised" this way, as a country, by our founders. They left England to get away from big government and massive taxation. When I was younger, I tilted slightly left, although still strong right-minded in certain respects. As I got older, the "left" left me and I realized that we needed to change our direction as a nation, otherwise we're screwed.

If you want less government and more money read this little ditty that i wrote about the FairTax: http://cedrustech.net/blog/archive/2008/04/08/7.aspx

I posted this at RSWarrior.com today. The body of my post is below. If you want to follow the ensuing responses, here you go:
http://rswarrior.com/forums/p/109491/903919.aspx

So there was this debate last week pertaining to Obama.
http://rswarrior.com/forums/p/109109/902590.aspx

It got a little off subject and became more of a religious argument. However, there is something that I want to point out that I had stated in one of my responses.

On page one of that thread I wrote:
Obama and his wife are covering up their true beliefs, especially his wife. I personally think she wears the pants in the family and he just goes along with it.
Lo-and-behold....what do I see in today in the following article on Slate.com:  http://www.slate.com/id/2190589/?from=rss
All right, then, how is it that the loathsome Wright married him, baptized his children, and received donations from him? Could it possibly have anything, I wonder, to do with Mrs. Obama?

This obvious question is now becoming inescapable, and there is an inexcusable unwillingness among reporters to be the one to ask it. (One can picture Obama looking pained and sensitive and saying, "Keep my wife out of it," or words to that effect, as Clinton tried to do in 1992 when Jerry Brown and Ralph Nader quite correctly inquired about his spouse's influence.) If there is a reason why the potential nominee has been keeping what he himself now admits to be very bad company—and if the rest of his character seems to make this improbable—then either he is hiding something and/or it is legitimate to ask him about his partner.

I direct your attention to Mrs. Obama's 1985 thesis at Princeton University. Its title (rather limited in scope, given the author and the campus) is "Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community." To describe it as hard to read would be a mistake; the thesis cannot be "read" at all, in the strict sense of the verb. This is because it wasn't written in any known language. Anyway, at quite an early stage in the text, Michelle Obama announces that she's much influenced by the definition of black "separationism" offered by Stokely Carmichael and Charles Hamilton in their 1967 screed Black Power: The Politics of Liberation in America.
Michelle Obama is leading "Barry" by the nose. She's got bigger balls than he does...and for that matter - so does Hillary. The author, Hitchens, seems to lean a little left but seems fair in his analysis.

And by the way, Obama's separation from Wright...too little, too late, as far as I'm concerned.

Although my favored Republican candidate is not in the running this election cycle -- I'll vote for McCain this year -- At least he's the only person swinging a pair, that should have a pair.

So someone posted a link to a video about Barack Obama and a firestorm erupted. I'm linking to this because I posted a couple of comments which may make sense to many people. My screen name is Ayrab.

The primary post with the video starts here:
http://rswarrior.com/forums/t/109109.aspx?PageIndex=1

My posts were primarily in response to another member called Damon. Things got pretty heated between Damon's response and the other fellows on the site before I had a chance to post my second reply. My posts were meant to discuss specific points with him on the forum. These posts may have gotten lost in maelstrom so I'll put the sequence of events and responses here as well...

Original Video that started this whole thing: http://eyeblast.tv:80/public/video.aspx?RsrcID=2036

Damon's First Post:

Oh wow - what utter propagandist crap.  Even Creationists would stand in awe of such masterful use of out of context quotes and misinformation.  Seems like half that video is about his name, and the other half is about his pastor.

Watch out everyone!  His name is Hussein and he went to a Muslim school!  He's obviously an islamic terrorist!

My name is Greek.  I am not Greek.

I went to a Catholic school for a decade.  I am not Catholic.

I hate to break it to you fundie right-wingers, but your pastors are ten times crazier than Obama's.  They just package their crazy to the liking of their audiences, just as Reverend Wright packages his crazy to the liking of his audience.

My First Response:

I disagree with you Damon. the quotes are not out of context, nor are they misinformation. These are actual facts and in-context quotations about the man's life. Now, I can agree if you're saying that painting him as a Muslim is a stretch. However, the comments that he and his wife, and his pastor, have made are so absolutely ludicrous that as a citizen, a naturalized citizen no-less, I personally find them offensive...and he wants to be our president? I am not a propagandist. I look for facts before making judgment.

I've lived here for 32 of my 37 years and seem to love this country, and believe in this country, more than people who were born here. This is the best country in the world!  We give more than any other country across the board, in blood, sweat, tears and money.

This man's character is not what he's making it out to be and that's what this video is trying to bring across. I've been following the election coverage closely. I find it disheartening that anyone can fall for such an empty suit.  The man speaks well but says nothing. His pastor speaks too much and IS A RACIST. The entire Democratic Party race baits and blames Republicans. Little do people know that it was the Democrats that started the KKK.

I agree with you saying that Wright is "packaging his crazy to the liking of his audience", but he's still preaching racism, and everyone in the audience is gleefully nodding and going along. Obama is a liar, and a politician, which are pretty much synonymous.

Obama and his wife are covering up their true beliefs, especially his wife. I personally think she wears the pants in the family and he just goes along with it. I understand that the general belief of the Democratic Party is that all people should be provided for. However, his form of government is not how we are going to survive as a nation. He will tax us to death and so will Clinton, and possibly McCain. I may be a Republican, but I'm not blind, nor am I stupid. I'm not a Kool-Aid drinker, and I'm not a racist, and I'm surely not a right wing nut job.

By the way, I was born Christian, and now I'm an atheist, but I still believe in this country, its values, and what it stands for. I also believe in one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all. This is not hypocrisy -- it's love of country above all else.

At least I know where I stand. Now it would be grand if we knew where our elected officials stand. In some cases, it's plain as day.

Damons 2nd Response:

AyRab, you need to post more often!  It's refreshing to see such a well thought-out post, even though I don't fully agree with you.

I say the quotes were out of context because, in all cases, there is a lengthy and satisfactory explanation for the issues addressed, such as the flag pin and the failure to place hand over heart during the anthem.  To me, it seems as though Obama is not concerned with the pomp, ceremony, pageantry, and symbolism many folks try to pass off as patriotism.  I think he feels as though we should judge him by his actions, rather than by his adherence to silly ritual.  As a former Catholic, I can relate to and respect this attitude.

I see nothing wrong with his wife's comment.  This country has been mismanaged into a sad mockery of itself, and I see no reason to be proud of the current state of affairs.  Further, I find national pride kind of silly in the first place.  I was born here.  I've always been a US citizen, and I had no choice in the matter.  Therefore, while I'm certainly happy to be an American, it is, in my opinion, foolish to be proud of something I had no control over.

I couldn’t care less about his pastor.  All pastors preach nonsense, and very few have anything meaningful to contribute.  Reverent Wright gets the white folks fired up because he’s preaching against white people, as opposed to white pastors who preach against gays, fornicators, and anyone else they don’t like that day.  In the end, it’s just more meaningless pastoral drivel that can be safely ignored.

After listening to Obama’s speeches, especially those concerning faith, I somewhat suspect he’s a closet atheist, and only pretends to be a Christian to keep the fundies happy.  It’s his bad luck that he chose a firebrand, racist pastor.

He does speak well, but you’re right – he sometimes lacks depth and perspective.  He may very well be covering up his true beliefs, but that can be said for just about anyone, anywhere, any time.  I don’t see it as an automatic deal-breaker.  Heh - perhaps so many people are "taken in" by such a fine speaker because, for the last eight years, we've dealt with a president who sounds functionally illiterate.

On a personal note, you say you weren’t born here, and your handle seems to be a reference to “Arab”.  Out of curiosity, where are you from?  I used to live in Egypt, w ana atakalam alarabiya showaya.

My 2nd Response:

I started this before I left work...I got home and there were 2 pages worth of posts. JEEZ!!! You guys are f'n crazy!!!  :)

Here is my response to Damon's post....

Damon, unfortunately, I used Ayrab as a screen name but it's misleading. I'm not Arab. I was born on the Christian side in Beirut, Lebanon, 1971. My family left the country due to civil war in 1976 and I've been here since.

I'm Lebanese by birth, American by choice.

To me it's not pomp and circumstance, and definitely not a silly ritual, to put your hand over your heart in front of the flag or wear the colors -- all the time. It's a showing of respect to your nation, all of the people within and especially to those who have put their lives on the line to keep it safe and free. We are indebted to these men and women. The flag symbolizes all that we stand for within this country. It's not just the counts of colonies and states on it. It's US! You, me and all of the people that live under it. We need to be loyal to our country, its flag, its heritage and its rituals. This is a prerequisite, in my eyes, to being a patriot.

You may not have had a choice but you should still be proud that you are an American. Many people come here from Mexico and are proud to be Mexican, and they don't hesitate in telling you and/or showing you. If you let others be prouder about there countries than you are of your's, then where will we be in the future?

His wife's comments, though they are allowed, are quite hurtful to us as a nation across the oceans. It's bad enough that we have other countries saying this kind of crap. We don't need our own people talking badly about the the greatest nation on Earth. As much as things are broken, we are still the one nation in this world that can lead others. The one nation that can assist and defend the weaker. We are the one good nation remaining that has the might, the money, the will and the balls. Any statements to the contrary only embolden our enemies within and abroad. This is why I have extreme views on why our politicians should not denegrate this country with their words. If Michelle Obama, hasn't been proud of the country that allowed her to become a highly educated and successful attorney then maybe she should move to Saudi Arabia - at least she'll have a right to vote. :)

Moving on...

We can generalize and say that all pastors preach nonsense, but at least the majority still understand love, caring, and affection for one and all, and most still preach this. So, I can't really state that all preachers preach nothing. From the standpoint of religion, I'll agree that it's nonsense, but it helps many people. I'm not one of those crazy atheists that wants to do away with all religion, because people believe, and many benefit from it. However, we can do away with the crazy-religious freaks that exist in all circles, but that's a book I'm not willing to write in this post.

For me, it goes a little deeper than that pertaining to Mr. Wright. His hatred is showing, evolving, growing and spreading. He's a Jesse Jackson, an Al Sharpton and a Farrakhan all wrapped into one. His type of language is detrimental to this nation and its people, primarily the black people. We've made progress, with regards to civil rights, over the past 50 years and it shows. However, there are many who don't want to allow progress to continue and would still like to see a segregated society, AND I'M NOT TALKING WHITE PEOPLE! Yes, there may still be a great deal of harbored antipathy by many Black Americans, but they can't be blind to the progress that has been made. Things aren't perfect but they're progressing.

Wright's terms can only be used to seed additional angst in the black population. Instead of preaching positive aspects of life:  Education, hard work, success in your endeavors, charity, self-reliance vs. dependence, and TRUE patriotism. He provides his audience ammunition and rope. The ammunition is to take aim and fire at all of us who believe in the common man, and really want people to succeed, but are being slighted by his words. And the rope is for them to hang themselves with, once they realize that they are killing off those who truly believe in them, rather than those who are using the past to perpetuate an ever-living hatred of their brother countrymen. This is the path to destruction - it's the path that I see will lead to another war within these borders, and it won't be with Arabs.

I can go on, but for the sake of brevity I'm going to end this post here. Let's just say that as a Republican, I believe that entitlements only hurt this nation and its people. It stops them from even taking a stab at succeeding at anything, and progressing as an individual. This is the core of why I can't stand what is being promised by our Democrat "friends". Add to that the craziness coming from black preachers aimed at black followers about how they are entitled to this and that, and that they are being held back by non-blacks...and you have civil war brewing. You know who's holding them back...the black preachers and the Great Society that they were promised.

I don't normally post political responses on rswarrior.com, but I needed to this time because of my growing belief that we would really go into the shitter as a country if we elected a Democrat. I also wanted to point out that Obama is not real.
